Hubble Heritage Team 2002-2017

I was a member of the Hubble Heritage Team from 2002 until 2017 when the group disbanded. Note that many team members rotated in and out over the years, which is evident on the Hubble Heritage website. Heritage started producing iconic Hubble images in 1998, mostly using the older Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 which was installed by astronauts to "rescue" Hubble in 1993. But in 2002, I was working on the newer and more powerful Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) which was installed by astronauts that year, and it was clear that most of Heritage's future work would involve ACS, so I joined the team. We had a great run, and produced many of the iconic images that Hubble has become famous for. Click the following graphic to access the entire Hubble Heritage image gallery:

Similar efforts have continued beyond 2017 with a new Outreach Imaging "Wow" Team creating mostly new Hubble anniversary images each April, and some other projects too. More recent outreach imaging HLSP data sets, using the even newer Wide Field Planetary Camera 3 (WFC3, installed by astronauts in 2009) can be found below:
